Job summary

Margaritaville Lake Resort Osage Beach MO is seeking a Resort Groundskeeper to maintain the resort grounds in all weather. You will plant, weed, trim, sweep, and ensure safe, clean curb appeal while following safety guidelines.

Reporting to the Landscaping Manager, you will help create a welcoming outdoor environment and support guest experience through meticulous grounds maintenance and timely trash removal.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Missouri Class E driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Basic English language communication with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to report information accurately and timely to supervisors.
• Follow Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
• Professional conduct and neat appearance at all times.
• Understand and support the Driftwood Mission.

Responsibilities

• Report to Supervisor at the start of shift to review daily duties and special requests.
• Pick up and dispose of trash from entry drive-through and front sidewalk to maintain curb appeal.
• Report any repair issues to Supervisor promptly.
• Sweep or mop front pedestrian walkways as needed.
• Empty trash and cigarette containers.
• Dispose of trash in garage and ensure areas are clean.
• Remove trash from building perimeter and back dock.
• Follow safety guidelines and avoid handling broken glass with hands.
• Greet all guests with a warm, friendly welcome.

With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a Resort Grounds team member to ensure the resort grounds are well maintained.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay $16.00 per hour

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age

Reports to: Landscaping Manager

As a Resort Groundskeeper, you will work in all weathers and seasons to maintain the grounds within the resort, including planting, weeding, trimming, leaf blowing, garbage removal and attending to icy conditions to improve safety in the winter.

Responsibilities include:

• Report to Supervisor at the beginning of shift to review daily duties and any special requests.
• Pick up and dispose of trash from entry drive-through and front sidewalk ensuring neat/clean curb appeal.
• Report any repair issues immediately to Supervisor.
• Sweep or mop front pedestrian walkways as necessary.
• Empty trash and cigarette containers.
• Pick up and dispose of trash in garage.
• Ensure all trash containers are empty and areas are swept.
• Remove and dispose of trash from perimeter of building and back dock.
• Scrupulously follow all safety guidelines, i.e.: never using hands to pick up broken glass or sharp objects.
• Greet all guests with warm, friendly welcome.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

Personal Skills

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Missouri Class E driver’s license.
• Must have basic knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to accurately and timely report information to appropriate parties.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, carrying and pulling of 50-60 pounds
• Pushing, bending, stooping, kneeling, pulling, upward reaching, manual dexterity

• Ability to stand on feet for hours at a time and be able to climb stairs
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold for extended periods of time
