Job summary

IHM Outdoors is seeking a Resort Groundskeeper to maintain our resort grounds, ensuring lawns, shrubs, and common areas are neat and presentable. Responsibilities include mowing, irrigation checks, weed control, and operating lawn equipment across multiple properties.

The role requires flexibility in scheduling and a focus on safety, quality, and guest satisfaction. Training and career growth opportunities are available within IHM Outdoors.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency including email and internet use.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide legible written reports.
• Broad experience in general grounds maintenance techniques.
• Proficient with handheld tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery.
• At least 6 months of resort groundskeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure lawns are manicured appropriately.
• Weed control, weed whip, rake leaves, plant flowers/shrubs, spread mulch/woodchips/stones, trim shrubs and hedges, and remove damaged limbs.
• Pick up trash and debris from common areas and streets; empty trash in common areas.
• Inspect irrigation system and repair as needed.
• Maintain resort vehicles and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures while performing duties and operating vehicles.
• Report maintenance issues to the manager.
• Keep resort presentable per curb appeal standards.
• Maintain pool chemical levels if applicable.
