Job summary

You will care for flowers, shrubs, and trees, water and fertilize, and monitor plant health while following safety guidelines and hotel policies. Experience in hospitality is preferred, with a high school diploma or GED and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plant care and garden maintenance is essential.
• Experience in hospitality settings is preferred.
• Ability to use gardening tools and light equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness is required.

Responsibilities

• Planting all types of plants, including flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Watering, fertilizing, and trimming plants to maintain vigor.
• Use and maintenance of gardening tools and light machines.
• Identify and treat plant diseases and pest issues.
• Clean up garden areas and maintain neat surroundings.
• Provide recommendations for garden improvements.
• Handle edging, mulching and related tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines for applying chemicals and operating equipment.
• Maintain professionalism and guest-focused service quality.
• Attend scheduled trainings and hotel meetings.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services and local attractions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
