Job summary

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is seeking a General Manager for its pet resort in Austin, TX. The GM will lead the resort’s operations, guest and pet care, and team development to deliver exceptional service and strong business results.

The role requires 3–5 years of management, P&L experience, and the ability to work a 45–50 hour week. Strong leadership, marketing collaboration and financial acumen are essential for driving EBITDA and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; 3–5 years of management experience including Profit and Loss management.
• Strong leadership, communication and team development skills.
• Proven ability to drive sales, manage budgets and optimize EBITDA.
• Ability to work up to 45–50 hours/week including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all resort operations including customer service, staff performance and guest/pet experience.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with resort objectives.
• Lead recruitment, training and development of resort managers, shift leads and team members.
• Drive financial performance through KPI tracking, budgeting and cost control.
• Collaborate with marketing to implement local market plans and branding initiatives.
