Job summary

The Tahoe Edgelake Beach Club in Tahoe Vista, CA is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. This full-time, year-round role runs Tuesday through Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with weekend availability and possible on-call duties.

You will perform preventive maintenance, basic repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical, and other building tasks, ensuring guest comfort and safety while coordinating with shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training acceptable.
• Technical or vocational degree preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Addresses guest service needs professionally and promptly.
• Welcomes guests with a friendly greeting and helps resolve issues.
• Performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs on building systems.
• Paints, cleans, and performs minor drywall/trim work as needed.
• Tests and troubleshoots equipment; handles plumbing and minor electrical tasks.
• Maintains inventory and communicates daily activities across shifts.
