Job summary

The Tahoe Edgelake Beach Club in Tahoe Vista, CA is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to maintain guest comfort and safety. You will perform preventive maintenance, repair guest rooms and equipment, and communicate daily activities to shifts using approved systems.

Ideal candidates have strong maintenance knowledge, basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing skills, and a commitment to safety. Weekend availability and on-call readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Technical trade or vocational degree preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork are important.

Responsibilities

• Addresses guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Welcomes and acknowledges every guest with a smile and name when possible.
• Actively listens and responds to guest questions and requests.
• Responds to guest complaints promptly and escalates as needed for follow-up.
• Maintains maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
