Job summary

Beach Quarters Resort in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to support maintenance across guest areas and back‑of‑house spaces. The role includes preventive maintenance, repairs, inventory, and on‑call duties to ensure uninterrupted guest comfort.

You'll work 40 hours weekly with day, night, and overnight shifts, including weekends and a nightly 11 PM–7:30 AM window preferred. Strong communication and safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Weekend availability and on-call flexibility.
• Willingness to work rotating day, night, and overnight shifts.
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Respond to guest repair requests and coordinate with shifts.
• Inspect and operate shut-offs and safety systems.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts.
• Assist with painting, carpentry, and landscaping tasks.
• Use Lockout/Tagout procedures before work.
