Job summary

Aspen Meadows Resort in Aspen, Colorado is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee all hotel engineering and maintenance across our 40-acre campus, ensuring brand standards and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include developing preventive maintenance, supervising a multi-building team, managing capital projects, and coordinating with Rooms, F&B, Events, and Wellness to ensure safe, efficient operations. Strong communication, leadership, and blueprint-reading skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of hotel/resort engineering/maintenance experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Experience managing maintenance across multiple buildings or a large campus environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and maintenance across six guest room buildings and four meeting/office buildings.
• Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs for guestrooms, public spaces, and mechanical systems.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate engineering staff to ensure proper coverage across a large campus.
• Respond to guest requests promptly to minimize disruption and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, and fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Oversee pool and spa mechanical systems; coordinate capital projects with leadership.
• Manage work orders, service requests, and vendor relationships.
