Job summary

Merlin-Entertainments is seeking an EMT to support the Health Services department at the resort. You will provide BLS emergency care, manage documentation, and coordinate patient care with local transport agencies while supporting security and medical staff.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, patrolling the resort, and ensuring safe operation of medical equipment and vehicles. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of EMT experience.
• Must have a current San Diego County EMT Card.
• Must have a current CPR/AED certificate (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• EMT – Bridged, ER or theme park medical experience is desirable.
• High School diploma or GED required; graduate of EMT/Paramedic program; valid CA and San Diego County certifications; BLS and ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide BLS emergency medical care to guests, employees, contractors, and vendors onsite.
• Operate medical emergency vehicle to and from scenes safely.
• Coordinate patient care between local transport and LLCR emergency staff.
• Maintain EMS documentation and reports prior to EOS.
• Keep treatment areas and equipment clean and stocked for daily ops.
