Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Anaheim, CA seeks a Principal Electrical Engineer to serve as the Resort’s top technical authority on power distribution, life-safety systems, and electrical code strategy. A CA PE license is required, and the role reports to the Director, A&FE in Anaheim.

You will lead complex, multidisciplinary projects, set technical direction, and provide expert-level guidance to engineers and designers across the Resort to ensure safe, compliant, and innovative electrical

Qualifications

Extensive electrical engineering experience focused on power distribution, life-safety systems, and electrical code strategy.
Expert understanding of CA Electrical Code, IEEE low voltage guidance, and Title 24 energy code.
Ability to set Resort-wide standards and oversee multi-year infrastructure master planning.

Responsibilities

Lead projects with significant risk and complexity, setting execution strategy.
Mentor and provide technical authority for electrical engineers across the Resort.
Represent the electrical function in cross-functional and executive discussions and external forums.
Develop and influence functional strategy for electrical engineering within the Resort’s capital and sustaining portfolios.
Set engineering standards, master specifications, and design guidelines for electrical systems.
