Job summary

Disney Worldwide Services, Inc. in Burbank, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer (PH) to support Corporate Real Estate Operations with electrical and critical power system design, installation, and commissioning across the portfolio.

The role requires +5 years of electrical engineering experience, strong communication, and proven ability to troubleshoot under deadlines. A Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering is required; Revit license is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with internal staff and outside entities.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and short notices.
  • Experience in electrical system design.
  • Experience in Utility, Critical Power Plants, and Lighting Controls.
  • Experience in instrumentation, start-up, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of Facility Control Systems, Building Controls, Energy Management Systems, and Maintenance Systems.
  • Strong computer skills - MS Office, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam REVU.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical resource for electrical and critical power systems across corporate properties.
  • Engineer design, development, testing, documentation, programming, and sustaining electrical systems.
  • Supervise third party MEP consultants regarding electrical design and power calculations.
  • Assist in critical system design for studios, broadcast spaces, data centers, etc.
  • Develop, review, and interpret electrical drawings to support projects.
  • Recommend and implement engineering changes to meet BU requirements.
  • Provide technical support for capital improvements and budgeting.
  • Review new project designs for adherence to Energy Goals.
