Job summary

Pinehurst Resort is seeking a dedicated Steward/Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils and kitchen areas across Food & Beverage outlets in a fast-paced resort environment.

Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, loading and unloading, stocking clean supplies, buffets setup/breakdown, and supporting overall heart-of-the-house cleanliness. Availability to work holidays and at multiple locations as needed is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Education or equivalent.
• Minimum one month related food service experience.
• Ability to work in various Food & Beverage locations and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures.
• Set up, operate dishwasher, fill water, replace soap and rinse.
• Clean food from plates before loading into dishwasher and wash items.
• Clean and sanitize dish machine and drop area.
• Maintain clean, sanitized dishware and storage areas.
• Clean entire dish area prior to end of shift.
• Clean, sanitize and store pots, pans, utensils and cutting boards.
• Clean and organize the dish area and supplies.
• Clean and sanitize glass racks and related equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors and restock consumables.
• Assist in buffets setup/breakdown and general heart-of-house cleanliness.
• Be available to work across multiple outlets and holidays as needed.
