Job summary

Mission Ridge Ski Resort is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to support the Hampton Lodge kitchen. You will maintain cleanliness of all dishware and ensure items are sanitized and ready for service, while assisting both kitchen and front-of-house teams in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The role requires staying organized, executing duties safely, and adapting to changing tasks, including occasional snow-related duties. Seasonal, part-time/full-time opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Time management to maintain pace during busy service periods without sacrificing quality.
• High attention to detail to ensure complete sanitization and proper storage of items.
• Physical endurance to stand and work on feet for long shifts in a demanding environment.
• Ability to work with kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth operations.
• Adaptability to shift focus between dishwashing, cleaning, and prep support.
• Understanding and follows safety procedures for handling kitchen tools and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing & sanitization of all kitchen equipment, pans, plates, silverware, and utensils.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and functional dishwashing area in the back-of-house.
• Restock clean dishware and utensils for kitchen and front-of-house use.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
• Remove kitchen trash and waste as needed to maintain cleanliness.
• Transport dirty dishes from front-of-house to the dish pit for cleaning.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks when needed.
• Clear snow in back-of-kitchen areas for safe access during winter operations.
• Clean and maintain the kitchen grease trap as scheduled.
