Job summary

Sugar Bowl Resort in California is seeking Janitors to help keep the lodge and public areas clean, safe and welcoming. Part-time and swing shift options are available, and you will provide exemplary customer service to guests and fellow staff.

You will perform daily cleaning, help with snow removal, and support other departments as needed. Sugar Bowl has a rich history and offers employee perks like free ski passes, meals discounts, and 401k eligibility after 1000 hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform daily cleaning of the lodge and public areas.
• Willing to work in harsh weather conditions.
• Follows written and verbal direction closely and accurately.
• Open to learning new skills and supporting other departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of the lodge and all public areas, including trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping down furniture/fixtures/equipment, mopping, dusting, window cleaning, and resetting chairs.
• Keep restrooms and public areas in the lodges clean and well-stocked.
• Handle snow removal, including shoveling and operating snow blowers.
• Provide general labor support throughout the resort as needed.
• Stay familiar with Sugar Bowl and confidently answer guest questions.
• Cross-train and lend a hand in other departments as needed, building a broader understanding of resort operations.
