Job summary

Cal-Am Properties, Inc. is seeking a Courtesy Patrol/Monitor to ensure exceptional resident and guest service while supporting resort operations and safety. You will assist with parking, conduct patrols, and respond to service requests, working outdoors across the resort in all weather.

Responsibilities include meter readings, incident reporting, and coordinating with management. The role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or resort settings preferred.
• Professional communication with residents and guests.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate a golf cart and light equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist arriving guests with safely parking and positioning RVs on assigned sites.
• Patrol the resort using a golf cart to identify maintenance, safety, or operational concerns.
• Respond promptly to calls for service from residents, guests, or management.
• Read utility meters as assigned and accurately record readings.
• Inspect resort grounds, buildings, and common areas for issues requiring attention.
• Report maintenance concerns such as water leaks, irrigation problems, damaged facilities, lighting outages, trip hazards, or other operational issues.
• Assist with traffic control during busy arrival and departure periods, special events, or emergencies.
• Deliver notices, supplies, or other materials throughout the resort as requested.
• Maintain communication with management and staff using radios or other communication devices.
• Complete daily activity logs, meter reports, and incident reports as required.
• Operate golf carts and other light equipment safely and in accordance with resort policies.
• Provide relief coverage at the Courtesy Patrol gate during breaks, shift changes, vacations, or other staffing needs.
• Greet residents, guests, vendors, and contractors while providing gate coverage in accordance with resort policies.
• Observe and report unusual activity or safety concerns to management.
• Manage volunteer rangers and scheduling – in season.
• Assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth resort operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
