Qualifications

• Six months related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional communication skills are critical.
• Comfortable working in an indoor/outdoor space.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and staff in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain safety awareness and report hazards to supervisor.
• Keep housekeeping areas organized and stocked; notify inventory needs.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, furniture, and spa areas.
• Clean floors and remove trash throughout the property.
• Occasionally launder, fold, and stock linens.
• Vacuum, dust, sanitize, polish, and mop as needed.
• Inspect linens before use and ensure equipment is functional.
• Follow resort dress code and assist guests as needed.
• Attend required staff meetings and respond to guest inquiries.
• Maintain Lost & Found and know resort facilities hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned due to operational needs.

Position

Ottine Mineral Springs is seeking a Resort Attendant who will play a crucial role in ensuring a pristine, calm, and welcoming environment for our guests. The role is ideal for someone meticulous, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of an immaculate setting in enhancing the guest experience. Both part‑time and full‑time positions require some nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Approach all guests and employees in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
• Maintain constant awareness of safety hazards and report findings to supervisor.
• Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked; keep housekeeping closets organized and well‑stocked; inform supervisor of inventory needs.
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize assigned areas including restrooms and changing areas, all indoor and outdoor furniture, reception and retail area, hallways, locker rooms, spa areas, administrative areas, and private pool areas.
• Clean and wash floors throughout property.
• Keep property free of trash.
• Occasional laundering, folding, and stocking.
• Vacuum, dust, sanitize, polish, and mop as required.
• Inspect linens before placing them in designated areas.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working order.
• Adhere to resort’s dress code policy.
• Assist guests as needed.
• Attend required staff meetings.
• Maintain resort’s Lost & Found.
• Have knowledge of all resort facilities, hours of operation, restaurants, pools, and event spaces.
• Perform other related duties as assigned; additional tasks may be required due to changing operational demands.

Requirements

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Six (6) months related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills are critical.
• Ability to work under pressure with a high level of patience and customer service.
• CPR and first aid certification a plus and/ or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to walk or stand and move about the resort (both indoors and outdoors) for eight or more hours per day; able to sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures, and the capacity to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Comfortable working in an indoor/outdoor space.
