Pet Paradise is seeking a Resort Associate to care for our four-legged guests and support daily operations at our Huntsville location. You will supervise pets, help with feeding, maintain clean facilities, and ensure safety with trained handling techniques.

Qualifications

• This position requires substantial physical labor including pet handling, cleaning, and maintenance of suites.
• True passion for working with animals.
• Cheerful, friendly, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
• Ability to receive instructions and adapt to training material.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and interact with pets inside the resort and in play yards.
• Follow feeding times, amounts, and types of food.
• Maintain cleanliness of suites and dog runs; disinfect, wash floors, scrub walls, remove waste.
• Empty trash, mop floors, clean restrooms and common areas.
• Monitor and report important information about pets to management and vet services.
• Use proper dog handling techniques as instructed by management.
• Keep dogs secure and uphold pet safety per training policies.

Pet Paradise is looking for individuals with a passion for pets to join our team as a Resort Associate and provide care for our four-legged friends.

Starting Rate: $13.50/hour ($0.50 increase 6 months from hire date, additional $0.50 increase on annual anniversary date)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF OUR RESORT ASSOCIATE INCLUDE

• Supervise and interact with pets both inside the resort and outside in the play yards
• Following directions on feeding times, amounts, and type of food
• Maintaining cleanliness of suites and dog runs by disinfecting, washing floors, scrubbing walls and removing animal waste
• Emptying trash, mopping all floors, and cleaning restrooms, common areas, and the employee breakroom
• Monitoring and recording important information about our pets and reporting any unusual behaviors, injuries, or critical information to management and veterinarian services if applicable
• Using proper dog handling techniques as instructed by management
• Keeping dogs secure and maintaining a high standard of pet safety by following and adhering to the training policies
