Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an Activities Associate to organize and lead guest recreation at a resort in Las Vegas.

You’ll create, plan and run activity programs, coordinate with the Activities Supervisor, and oversee areas like the pool, cinema, fitness center and event spaces. The role requires creativity, excellent communication, a valid driver's license for operating shuttles or vans, and proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement when interacting with guests and team members.
• State driver’s license and comfort operating large vehicles such as shuttles or vans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willingness to work an adjusted schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Depending on the location, certifications like Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, Alcohol Awareness Card, Food Server Health Card may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and execute guest activity programs for the resort.
• Monitor, supervise, and assist guests in the activity center.
• Promote and register guests for resort activities.
• Conduct and record inspections of related activity areas in compliance with company standards and requirements.
• Manage a cash bank following proper cashiering procedures (when applicable).
• Attend and complete required resort and company trainings.
• Handle all safety issues and incidents immediately.
