Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Resort Activities Manager for a leading holiday resort in George. You will design and oversee a diverse calendar of sports, entertainment, and cultural events for guests of all ages, leading a team of coordinators and entertainers.

You will manage operational facilities, budgets, and procurement, while seeking guest feedback to improve offerings and satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership and hospitality expertise to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hospitality, event management, or leisure operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a calendar of daily and weekly activities.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of activity coordinators and entertainers.
• Oversee the operational aspects of resort recreational facilities, ensuring they are safe and well-maintained.
• Manage budgets for the activities department, including procurement of supplies and vendor contracts.
• Gather guest feedback to continuously improve activity offerings and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage and marketing, to ensure seamless event execution.
