Job summary

Alpek Polyester USA, LLC seeks a Resins Training and Compliance Specialist for the Gaston, SC facility. You will lead training programs, ensure environmental, safety and ISO compliance, and partner with shift supervision to strengthen safe work practices.

You will design procedures, train operators, audit sites, and manage training records, equipment inspections, and materials handling tasks to support production services and maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must not be afraid of heights and working in elevated locations on pipe bridges.
• Must be proficient with process equipment.
• Must be computer literate, with the ability to navigate basic software and digital tools as required for daily tasks.
• Must be proficient in following standard safe work practices in accordance with company policies and expectations.
• Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize, edit, and develop training procedure guidelines and course materials.
• Maintains records for employee skills progression and safety inspections.
• Present information using instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, and lectures.
• Provide leadership to Resins teams in safe work practices.
• Provide specific training programs for operators related to production services and maintenance duties.
• Handle packaging, raw materials and bulk loading paperwork.
• Ensure area compliance to Environmental, Safety, ISO standards.
• Conduct periodic audits of work sites for permits and safety practices.
• Input purchase requisitions for non-standard materials.
• Manage some day shift Resins operations as assigned.
