Job summary

Techniplas, LLC in South Carolina is seeking a lead operator/trainer to support shift transitions, ensure process accuracy, and uphold 6S on the shop floor.

You will train and retrain machine operators, monitor quality and scrap, review work instructions, and assist the supervisor with new job set-ups and documentation.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, plus 3 years of manufacturing experience or an Associate's degree; environmental and safety policies are key.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• 3 years manufacturing experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials, BOM, and document lot traceability.
• Maintain 6S standards on the shop floor.
• Provide training and retraining for machine operators.
• Monitor machine quality and scrap during shifts.
• Perform mini-audits on produced parts.
• Assist supervisor and operators during shift transitions.
• Review and update work instructions and training matrices.
• Comply with Environmental Requirements and report incidents.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
