Job summary

Hexion is seeking a Chemical Operator for the Fayetteville site. You will ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of continuous and batch production facilities, handling materials and performing real-time data entry using SAP and MS Office.

A strong emphasis on safety, coordination with shifts, and adherence to SOPs defines this role. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, forklift and chemical handling experience, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with forklift operation and chemical handling.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and multi-task in a production environment.
• Physical stamina to perform lifting and movement tasks and wear protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor continuous and batch production facilities safely.
• Follow SOPs to meet production and quality specs.
• Perform real-time data entry in SAP and MS Office as needed.
• Unload raw materials and load finished product using forklifts and equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and comply with permits and regulatory requirements.
