Job summary

Arclin’s Moncure, NC site is seeking a Product Development Chemist to design and execute tasks for innovative resin-based products supporting the company’s development strategy. You will collaborate with R&T, Sales, Manufacturing, and Marketing to translate scientific insights into scalable formulations.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry, 2–3 years in an industrial lab (MS can substitute for two years), strong communication in cross-functional teams, and proficiency with MS Office and data

Qualifications

  • Bachelors of Science in Chemistry or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an industrial chemical laboratory; MS degree substitutes for two years of experience.
  • Ability to work efficiently and communicate clearly in a cross-functional team.
  • Capability to prepare written reports with technical clarity, accuracy and detail.
  • Proficiency with computer software (MS Office, statistical analysis, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute projects to develop and optimize resin products.
  • Apply innovative thinking to solve chemical challenges.
  • Provide technical support to applications, production and sales groups.
  • Maintain accurate records of work results and activities.
  • Maintain a safe lab environment in compliance with health and safety policies.
