Job summary

Barclays is seeking a VP-level Resilience Ops Recovery Lead to define and govern the enterprise recovery framework. You will drive technology and cyber recovery, crisis response, and operational resilience, coordinating across Technology, Infrastructure and Business units to safeguard critical services and ensure rapid recovery in severe scenarios.

You will engage with senior stakeholders, provide clear governance updates, and lead testing to prove readiness while aligning with regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience driving technology recovery, cyber recovery, crisis response or operational resilience across large-scale enterprise environments.
• Understanding of cyber recovery, resilience, disaster recovery, and incident management frameworks.
• Ability to coordinate recovery activities across technology, infrastructure and business teams during high-pressure incidents.

Responsibilities

• Socialise and implement resilience strategy across the firm, ensuring compliance to standards and controls.
• Develop and uplift resilience, crisis and incident management framework for recovery readiness.
• Provide governance oversight and reporting to senior technology and business stakeholders.
• Lead testing and validation to demonstrate recovery within impact tolerance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and external partners to maintain critical recovery capabilities.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and evolving resilience practices.
