Job summary

You will build, own, and continuously improve resilience policies, standards, and incident-response plans aligned with Waymo's Safety Management System. You will lead cross-functional partnerships with Product, Engineering, Operations, Facilities, Legal, and Policy to design robust process flows and escalation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and writing policy, standards, and processes.
• Track record of cross-functional partnership with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to design complex process and escalation flows with Product/Engineering focus.
• Experience in after action reviews and retrospectives to identify actions.

Responsibilities

• Build, own, and improve resilience policies, standards, and plans aligned with SMS.
• Manage cross-functional partnerships to design complex process flows and escalation pathways globally.
• Lead value stream and process mapping, standardizing resilient workflows across markets.
• Drive continuous improvement and SMS assurance with post-incident reviews and corrective actions.
• Ensure vendor and partner continuity plans align to support scalability and audits.
