Wedgwood Christian Services is seeking a Youth Treatment Specialist (FT) for the UC Program in Grand Rapids. You will provide daily care, counseling and supervision to adolescents in a residential treatment setting, helping implement individual treatment programs and manage unit operations.

The role requires 21+ age, a high school diploma (or equivalent) with preferred psychology/social work/counseling education, and a valid driver’s license. Salary starts at $22+ hourly with full-time benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education/certification in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Create a therapeutic milieu marked by warmth, empathy and respect.
• Assist in development and evaluation of client treatment programs and support therapy, employment training, activities, school, transportation.
• Observe and monitor client behaviors; hold residents accountable using agency interventions; serve as a role model.
• Demonstrate knowledge and use of non-violent crisis intervention techniques; complete required reports.
