Job summary

Navigating Day Treatment Center / Family Advantage LLC in Pleasant Hill, NC seeks dependable Paraprofessionals to support children and adolescents in a Level III residential group home. The position is part-time with a flexible schedule and in-person work within the Day Treatment program.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, assisting with therapeutic activities, reinforcing treatment goals, and helping youth develop behavioral, social, and coping skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Meet NC Medicaid and Day Treatment requirements for Paraprofessional staff.
• Work under supervision of qualified program staff.
• Experience in behavioral health or related settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and supervision to children and adolescents participating in Day Treatment.
• Assist with structured therapeutic and skill-building activities as directed by qualified staff.
• Help youth practice coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, problem-solving, and appropriate social behaviors.
• Reinforce treatment goals and behavioral interventions established by the treatment team.
• Assist with maintaining a safe, structured, therapeutic, and supportive environment.
• Observe client behaviors and report significant changes or concerns to the appropriate QP or Licensed Professional.
• Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation according to agency policy and training.
• Support clients during transitions and scheduled program activities.
• Participate in staff meetings, treatment-team activities, supervision, and required training as assigned.
• Complete required documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and families.
