Job summary

Family Advantage LLC seeks an Associate Professional (AP) for its Level III Residential Treatment Program serving children and adolescents with mental health needs. The AP delivers direct care, supervision, and supports treatment plans in a 24-hour residential setting.

Candidates must meet one of the NC 10A NCAC 27G .0104 pathways with supervision by a Qualified Professional and documented experience in MH/DD/SA services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a human service field with less than one year of post-graduate MH/DD/SA experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a human service field with less than two years post-bachelor MH/DD/SA experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a field other than human services with less than four years post-bachelor MH/DD/SA experience.
• Education, transcripts, employment history and qualifying MH/DD/SA experience will be verified before classification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the Level III residential facility.
• Provide direct care, supervision, structure, and therapeutic support to children and adolescents.
• Supervise paraprofessionals regarding treatment plan implementation.
• Participate in service-planning and treatment-team meetings.
• Implement treatment-plan goals, interventions, behavioral strategies, and safety plans.
• Assist youth with coping, emotional regulation, communication, problem-solving and living skills.
• Monitor client behavior, progress, safety, and functioning.
• Report significant clinical or safety concerns to the supervising professional.
