Job summary

Navigating Day Treatment Center / Family Advantage LLC is seeking an Associate Professional (AP) to join our Child & Adolescent Day Treatment Program in Kannapolis, NC. The AP provides structured behavioral health interventions under supervision, supporting treatment goals and client safety.

The role emphasizes collaboration with QPs and other professionals, documentation, crisis de-escalation, and adherence to HIPAA and client rights.

Qualifications

• Education and experience must meet NC AP requirements.
• Experience with children/adolescents in behavioral health preferred.
• Education verification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral health interventions to children and adolescents in Day Treatment.
• Implement interventions identified in each client's treatment plan.
• Facilitate structured therapeutic and skill-building activities under supervision.
• Help clients develop coping, emotional regulation, and social skills.
• Observe, monitor, and document client progress toward goals.
• Complete required service documentation within established timeframes.
• Assist with crisis prevention, de-escalation, and safety plans.
• Maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic environment.
• Communicate concerns to supervising clinicians.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings.
