Zusammenfassung

MYSI Corporation is seeking a Residential Youth Advisor II to create a safe, engaging home environment for at-risk youth in a residential program. You will coach staff, support youth in life, social, vocational, and academic skills, and uphold all safety and documentation standards.

Responsibilities include daily care, crisis response, shift logs, and collaboration with supervisors. Training and a commitment to diversity are required.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 21 years old per DCFS regulations.
• CPR, First Aid and CPI training provided; able to use de-escalation techniques.
• Must pass DCFS background check and possess valid driver’s license.
• Experience in social services or residential settings preferred.

Aufgaben

• Manage daily care for youth in state care ages 14 to 17+ with safety and routines.
• Act as a positive role model, listen actively and support youth.
• Respond to crises using hands-off methods and de-escalation techniques.
• Complete shift logs, medication management, and incident reporting.
• Provide administrative support and attend trainings and meetings.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary residential environment.
