DIFFERENTIAL PAY
$1,500 SIGN ON BONUS
As a Residential Youth Counselor, you will provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and governing bodies' (DSS, OMH, JCAHO, etc.) requirements for elementary aged children. You will work on-site on our Albany campus and will report to the Residential Supervisor.
Responsibilities include providing for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including safety, hygiene, clothing, food, medical care, and creating a nurturing environment.
RC1: Work within trauma-informed frameworks, build positive relationships, complete trainings, and maintain documentation.
RC2: Facilitate groups, lead dorm activities, and form relationships with challenging youth.
RC3: Demonstrate critical thinking, lead and delegate tasks, and make decisions for the team.
