Job summary

KidsPeace is seeking an Assistant House Manager to support the administrative and operational coordination of the Residential Unit. The role works closely with the House Manager to develop, implement, and maintain unit policies, ensuring staff and clients follow agency guidelines.

The position also contributes to staff performance and program quality while addressing emergencies and critical incidents. This role involves supervising children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 60 college credit hours plus 3 years of work experience with children is required, OR Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Mental Health or Human Services field plus 1 year of work experience with children is required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to clear physicals/trainings to fully perform restraints as necessary when ordered by a licensed professional using the current approved KidsPeace restraint methodology on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and who are physically threatening or otherwise presenting a threat to themselves or others.
