Job summary

KidsPeace in Orefield, PA seeks a House Manager for our residential program working evening hours. You will coordinate daily activities, enforce house policies, and ensure the safety and well-being of children with behavioral and mental health needs.

Reporting to the Program Director, you will supervise staff, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help maintain fiscal accountability while upholding KidsPeace standards and a compassionate, therapeutic community.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of these education/experience paths: Associates degree or 60 college credits plus 3 years of work with children, OR Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of work with children.
• Prior supervisory/managerial experience required.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
• Valid state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activity for assigned residential unit/house.
• Formulate and implement house policies and procedures.
• Ensure safety of clients and staff.
• Collaborate with Program Director to follow agency guidelines and limitations.
• Ensure competency of all staff through observation and supervision.
• Assist the Program Director to ensure fiscal responsibility.

Position Summary

We are seeking staff to work with at-risk youth. We take pride in our structured program that focuses on changing a client's behaviors, thinking patterns, and values. Our program primarily focuses on implementing behavioral changes to assist with a successful reintegration into the home, family, and community.

This opportunity is part of our residential program. This is a long term care site for children with mental and behavioral challenges. The House Manager is responsible for the administration and coordination of the daily activity for an assigned residential unit/house including formulating and implementing house/unit policies and procedures to ensure the safety of clients and staff. The House Manager also works in conjunction with the Program Director to keep staff aware of agency and departmental guidelines and limitations. The House Manager ensures that the daily program of the house is conducted according to KidsPeace expectations and with sensitivity toward the inclusion of the multidisciplinary treatment team and therapeutic community. The House Manager ensures competency of all staff working in the house by observation and supervision. The House Manager also assists the Program Director to ensure fiscal responsibility.
