Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a Youth Residential Care Worker to join our on-site team in Berea, OH. The role supports boys and girls with complex trauma and mental health needs within a residential campus environment.

You will supervise residents, promote safety, and collaborate with staff to deliver structured routines and group activities. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ years’ experience with at-risk youth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience with high risk/at risk youth or similar population.
• Crisis intervention training or experience recommended.
• Understanding of adolescent development and trauma-informed care beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents during assigned shift and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Provide crisis intervention per agency policies.
• Maintain structured routines and organize educational groups for residents.
