Job summary

TEP Electric LLC, based in Canton, GA, is seeking a Residential Wireman & Service Specialist to install and service homes and light commercial projects. You will read blueprints, install panels, lighting, feeders, and run conduit while adhering to NEC and local codes.

The role is full-time and involves mostly daytime work across North Georgia, with occasional weekends depending on project needs. Growth opportunities exist as the residential and service division expands.

Qualifications

• 2+ years on electrical crews or equivalent experience
• Residential is preferred with ability to assist on commercial when needed
• Read prints, run conduit, and keep jobsite tidy, adapting to changing plans

Responsibilities

• Full electrical installation for new residential construction
• Tenant build-outs, remodels, and ground-up tasks
• Assist with residential installs and service calls
• Troubleshoot in residential and commercial environments
• Install panels, lighting, feeders, branch circuits; run conduit (EMT, MC, rigid)
• Read and interpret blueprints/electrical drawings
• Work safely and follow NEC and local codes
• Maintain organized, professional jobsites

• You hold a valid driver's license and show up ready to work.

What your week could look like

Imagine starting the week wiring a ground-up residential project - panels, lighting, feeders, and branch circuits - using EMT, MC, and rigid as needed. Midweek, you assist on a tenant fit-out and a remodel, reading updated drawings and coordinating with the project manager. You finish with residential service calls: diagnose, repair, document, and communicate next steps. Through it all, you work to NEC and local codes and keep the site professional.
