The role requires knowledge of NEC, blueprints, and hands-on use of tools, with 2+ years of experience and a clean driving record. On-site, full-time with occasional after-hours work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• NEC knowledge and ability to interpret electrical codes.
• 2+ years of professional electrical technician experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality.
• Assemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and other equipment.
• Respond quickly to service requests and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to affected parties.
• Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule.
• Log services and report progress to management.

Electrical Technician Job Summary

We have an immediate opening at Majestic Plumbing & Electric, LLC. for a highly-skilled Electrical Technician to service our clients in their homes and businesses to troubleshot, diagnose, and the repair their electrical systems. You will respond to requests for electrical repairs and breakdowns as well as perform routine maintenance and upgrade equipment as necessary. Candidates must know how to troubleshoot programmable logic controllers and make adjustments or repairs if they are not working properly. We prefer applicants who have at least two years of professional technician experience and have a flexible schedule.

Electrical Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality
• Assemble and install electrical panels, wire harnesses, and other electrical equipment
• Respond quickly to all service requests and efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
• Communicate estimated timelines for repairs to those impacted
• Install new equipment and wiring to expand infrastructure as needed

Electrical Technician Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in electrical engineering technology preferred
• Valid electrician license in good standing is a plus
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• 2+ years of experience working as an electrical technician
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and all necessary equipment
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficient with manual and power tools
• Familiar with code requirements and company safety regulations
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
• Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces or at heights.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug test.

Qualifications

• 3 years of service experience in electrical engineering or other related fields.
• Must be customer oriented with a focus on customer service and client retention.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Flat rate pricing experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and have a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• ServiceTitan experience a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Bend at the knees and hips repetitively
• Lift up to 100 lbs.

• Work in a crawlspace

Environment and Scheduling:

• Hours vary, must be on-site by 8 AM M-F.
• Must be available to an after-hours rotating schedule.
• Saturdays once every three weeks.
