HANSONS is seeking an experienced Residential Service Technician in Troy, MI to complete lifetime warranty service, perform window repairs, and handle measure confirmations for replacements and remodels. You will work directly with homeowners, delivering high-quality service while respecting safety and warranty guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in residential window installation, repair, warranty service, or replacement window work.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent measuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete lifetime warranty service appointments.
• Perform window repair and other residential service calls.
• Troubleshoot operational issues with replacement windows and related products.
• Replace window sashes, balances, locks, tilt latches, weatherstripping, screens, and hardware.
• Perform minor adjustments, caulking, glass adjustments, and warranty repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service while working in homeowners' homes.
• Measure confirmations for replacement windows.
• Verify measurements for bath remodels and other residential products.
• Confirm openings, product specs, and installation readiness.
• Document measurements, photos, and service notes using a company-issued iPad.
• Communicate with Operations and Installation teams to ensure projects are ready for production.
