Job summary

GFL is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and efficiently perform curbside and backdoor waste collection on designated routes in Fort Worth, TX. You will operate a residential/recycling truck, load materials, and ensure accurate route documentation while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a CDL, strong driving skills, and the ability to work in varying weather and traffic conditions. Overtime and shift flexibility may be needed as part of service coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or desired.
• CDL required; ability to meet safety sensitive criteria.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential/recycling collection truck on specified routes.
• Load waste/recyclables into vehicle and assist with loading duties.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain route documentation.
• Report mechanical issues immediately and communicate with supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and adhere to safety policies.
