Job summary

New Directions Northwest in Baker City, Oregon seeks a Treatment Technician to support residents on the recovery journey within a structured, caring environment.

You will provide compassionate supervision, help with daily activities and programming, document accurately, and collaborate with counselors and the treatment team to promote safety and progress for clients pursuing recovery from substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background checks, drug screening, driving and other employment requirements may apply.
• Residential treatment or behavioral health experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in a compassionate, respectful and nonjudgmental manner.
• Help maintain a safe, structured and recovery-focused residential environment.
• Provide client supervision and support throughout daily activities and programming.
• Observe and communicate important client needs or concerns to the treatment team.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with counselors, supervisors and other members of the treatment team.
• Follow NDN policies, residential procedures and safety requirements.
