Job summary

New Directions Northwest in Baker City, Oregon is seeking a Treatment Technician to join our residential treatment team. You will help maintain a safe, recovery-focused environment and support clients through daily activities and programming.

No extensive behavioral health experience required; we provide training. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and applicants must pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background, drug-screening, driving and other employment requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in a compassionate, respectful and nonjudgmental manner.
• Help maintain a safe, structured and recovery-focused residential environment.
• Provide client supervision and support throughout daily activities and programming.
• Observe and communicate important client needs or concerns to the treatment team.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Work collaboratively with counselors, supervisors and other members of the treatment team.
• Follow NDN policies, residential procedures and safety requirements.
