Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Program Tech to work with the treatment team to ensure complete coordination of the client’s treatment from admission through discharge. The role monitors daily client activities in a residential setting and provides clinical support to the team and to external/internal customers, helping secure safety for consumers and the facility.

Responsibilities include understanding symptoms and behaviors related to substance use and mental illness, recognizing suicide warning

Qualifications

• Driver's License - Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Responsibilities

• PROVIDES CLINICALLY SUPPORTIVE SERVICES AS REQUIRED BY PROGRAM
• Understand the symptoms and behaviors associated with substance use and mental illness.
• Ability to recognize the warning signs for suicide.
• Knowledge of opiate overdose signs and symptoms.
• Demonstrates Active Listening, motivational techniques, and crisis management.
• Maintain appropriate treatment boundaries with consumers and their families.
