Job summary

Recovery Center of Maryland, LLC (RCOMD) is seeking an experienced Executive Director to provide operational leadership for our residential substance use disorder treatment program in Baltimore, MD. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field with progressive leadership experience.
• 5+ years of leadership in behavioral health or residential treatment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and performance management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of the daily operations of the residential treatment program.
• Ensure services are delivered in alignment with mission, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish clear operational expectations, workflows, and performance standards.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, recovery-focused residential environment.
• Oversee staffing and coverage across residential operations.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with CEO/COO, clinical leadership, and community partners.
• Monitor census, admissions, and bed utilization; manage relationships with hospitals and providers.
• Assist with budget development and fiscal stewardship; optimize efficiency while maintaining quality.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field

Master's degree in behavioral health, healthcare administration, business administration, social work, counseling, public health

5+ years of senior leadership experience in behavioral health or residential treatment

Strong knowledge of compliance, quality improvement, and performance management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
