Job summary

NFI North in Newport, NH is seeking a Program Director to oversee a five-bed Residential Treatment Program serving adults with serious mental illness and complex medical needs. You will lead clinical services, staffing, licensing, payroll, and general program operations, with on-call duties and some evening hours.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in social work or counseling with 4+ years of management experience, or a Bachelor’s with 5 years of management experience and relevant population

Qualifications

• Preferred Master’s Degree in social work or counseling with 4+ years management experience and experience with mental illness populations.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years management experience and experience working with the target population.
• Experience coordinating licensing and Joint Commission requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality services and all program operations.
• Develop a management and staff team to assist in programmatic operations, clinical services, payroll, licensing and supervision.
• Coordinate with State funding personnel, oversee fiscal management, record keeping, and personnel development.
• Provide on-call coverage with some evening hours.
