Job summary

Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland is seeking a Residential Assistant to guide and support clients in a treatment setting. Responsibilities include supervising clients, enforcing program policies, transporting clients to appointments, and providing direct client support.

The role may involve second- or third-shift coverage as needed to meet operational demands. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Ohio driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire.
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and MVR check.
• Able to form good working and therapeutic relationships.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise alcohol/drug dependent clients and enforce policies.
• Provide client support and guidance.
• Perform de-escalation interventions as needed.
• Prepare documentation of services provided to clients.
• Administer urinalysis drug screens as needed.
• Supervise client activities and medications as required.
• Maintain safety and respond to crises on the floor.
• Complete required paperwork and data entry.
