Job summary

Easterseals NH is seeking a Residential Support Counselor to support individuals in our community-based residential homes in Weare, NH. This full-time role covers evening and weekend shifts with a wage of $24 per hour.

You will help with daily living activities, companionship, and following each resident's care plan while ensuring safety and independence. Applicants should have 1 year in Human Services, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

1 year of experience in Human Services field.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

Promote independence, create a safe environment, and provide companionship to clients in a residential home.
Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration.
Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events.
Follow each individual's care plan.
All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety.
Complete required daily documentation.
Other duties as needed or assigned.
