Job summary

Easterseals NH is hiring a Residential Support Counselor in Nottingham, NH. This full-time role supports adults in two adjacent homes, promoting independence and a safe living environment, with responsibilities including daily living activities and medication administration.

You will join a compassionate team, participate in training, and contribute to individualized care plans while documenting daily activities and ensuring client well-being.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the Human Services field.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and medication administration
• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
• Follow each individual's care plan
• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
• Complete required daily documentation
• Other duties as needed or assigned

Ready to make a meaningful impact? Easterseals NH has an exciting opportunity at a new home in Nottingham, NH! We're currently hiring Residential Support Counselors to join our compassionate and dedicated team.

Hours

Full time, 40 hours/week

• Wednesday 7am - 3pm
• Thursday 8am - 9pm
• Friday 4pm - 9pm
• Saturday 7am - 9pm

Compensation

$24 hourly

Responsibilities

The Residential Support Counselor will support in promoting independence, creating a safe environment, and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting. Staff in this location will have the opportunity to support adults in two adjacent homes.
