Job summary

Heinzerling Community is seeking compassionate Residential Home Assistants for the 2nd shift in Columbus, OH. You will support residents by maintaining clean living areas, stocking supplies, and assisting with daily tasks while ensuring safety and comfort during transportation.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to push residents in wheelchairs up to 200 pounds.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Not a direct caregiving position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness of resident living areas, including activity rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms.
• Stock supplies in designated areas and assist with mealtime set-up.
• Assist residents with daily tasks such as brushing their teeth and participating in designated programs and activities.
• Transport residents to and from designated areas, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Document resident activities and progress as directed by the Unit Manager.
