Job summary

Inclusion Health Services in Columbus, OH is seeking a compassionate Residential Support Specialist to provide hands-on care in a residential setting and empower individuals toward independence.

Responsibilities include daily living support, personal care, documentation, and collaboration with case managers and health professionals. Flexible, person-centered care is core to the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and daily living support to residents in a residential facility setting.
• Assist individuals with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
• Implement individualized support plans and document progress accurately.
• Administer medications and monitor health needs in accordance with care plans.
• Facilitate community integration activities and encourage resident independence.
• Respond to behavioral and crisis situations using approved intervention techniques.
• Collaborate with case managers, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
