The Home for Little Wanderers, Inc. seeks a Residential Supervisor for Harrington House in Dorchester, MA to support youth who have experienced trauma and significant emotional and behavioral challenges.

Join a trauma-informed care team and receive extensive training and professional development. The Residential Supervisor will lead night shift operations, coordinate staffing, and supervise direct care staff to ensure safety and effective care for residents.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with youth
• HS diploma or equivalency; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid Driver's License

• The Residential Supervisor will work closely with the Milieu/Program Director to ensure appropriate staffing coverage; hire, train, supervise, performance manage and evaluate direct care staff; mediate staff issues and employee conflicts; host team meetings for staff and provide training and weekly supervision.

This position is Thursday-Saturday 11PM-9AM.

Driving Requirements

• May be required to operate a vehicle
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license and a “satisfactory” driving record
• May be required to have access to a personal vehicle for use during work hours
• May be required to use personal vehicle to transport clients on occasion if/when needed
• If required to transport clients, must maintain the minimum amounts of liability insurance as required by The Home and/or other regulatory requirements and vehicle registration must be current
