Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers' Harrington House in Dorchester, MA is seeking a Residential Supervisor to lead direct care staff, ensure safe and trauma-informed programming, and support youth with emotional and behavioral challenges. Schedule is Thursday–Saturday, 11 PM–9 AM, with a strong emphasis on team leadership and staff development.

• The Residential Supervisor will work closely with the Milieu/Program Director to ensure appropriate staffing coverage; hire, train, supervise, performance manage and evaluate direct care staff; mediate staff issues and employee conflicts; host team meetings for staff and provide training and weekly supervision.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with youth
• HS diploma or equivalency; bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid Driver's License

Driving Requirements

• May be required to operate a vehicle
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license and a “satisfactory” driving record
• May be required to have access to a personal vehicle for use during work hours
• May be required to use personal vehicle to transport clients on occasion if/when needed
• If required to transport clients, must maintain the minimum amounts of liability insurance as required by The Home and/or other regulatory requirements and vehicle registration must be current
